Well, I'm dead in the water with a sick battery (or so it appears) so it
may not be an isolated case as mentioned earlier on the list.  

It died on the weekend, for no reason at all.  Nothing left turned on,
etc. etc.  Gave it a full charge out of the bike and it lasted about 10
minutes of running.  All the time the bike appeared to be in "limp home" 
mode and the management system warning was glowing.  Ran like a pig.  Back
to the dealer we go.

Shame you can't bump start these high-tech machines.  Could make for a
long walk if it died at the wrong moment.
