Summer & Weekend Riding

Hi all!  James, glad you had a great ride without any of those awards we all
like to avoid.  Thanks for the info. on the riding apparel.  I am leaning
towards Vanson perfed right now.  I need to get a size chart from them.  The
Vanson dealer in Houston does not have any women's gear in stock (of course!),
and I will not buy unless I know what measurements equal what size!!  That 15%
restocking fee is a killer if you have to send a jacket and pants back!

We had a fairly uneventful riding weekend as Saturday morning the Exec. decided
to go on the fritz.  Will have to load her up and take her to the shop on
Tuesday.   She got flooded and then one cylinder wasn't firing.  Now all three
cylinders are firing, but she's still draining fuel out of the overflow tube and
she sounds sick!!  That means we went two up on the ST!  While riding behind
Richard on Saturday was better than no riding at all, it is not the same as
being in control!!  Today, I took him for around 75 miles two-up!  It was my
first "long" trip with someone behind me, and I liked it.  I was in control and
having more fun!!  Still, I want him to get the Exec fixed fast!

Although my ST is in the number range for the bolt recall, I have not
experienced any leak as of yet.  I will keep checking.  I am hoping to put off
that repair until my panniers come in, but that may be being too optimistic.
Triumph USA won't give my dealer any specific time for delivery.  Sure is nice
to pay for something only to be told that the people receiving your funds can't
be courteous enough to let you know when the items purchased are going to
arrive.  I'm taking an across state trip the second weekend in May and I want my
panniers, especially since there are no good bungie hooks on the ST.
