Re: Re:seat catch failure

Bread! Apples! Very small rocks! Cider! Uhhh, gravy! Cherries! Mud!
Churches -- churches! Lead -- lead! ......A duck.
Oooh.
Exactly! So, logically...,
If... she.. weighs the same as a duck, she's made of wood.
And therefore--?
A witch!
A witch! A witch! A witch!

Oops - sorry wrong movie.....

Can't you get to the lock back plate from behind (or under) ? The plate
that is binding is the one on the frame not the one under the seat. You
should be able to put a small screwdriver between the back plate and the
lock side and pry it open just slightly. Then the lock should turn freely.

seat is jammed onto the bike and I cannot use the lock to remove it? Any
suggestions or ideas to try would be much appreciated; e.g. is it possible
to twist the key in the lock while putting pressure on the plate (with the
seat still in place) ?
