RE: Tires ... Again



I had Macadams on my Bandit 1200, they worked well and lasted 6000+ miles
even with the torque of the Bandit and me pulling wheelies left right and
centre.
As for purchasing tyres elsewhere, The mechanic at my dealers recommended it
!
He said they can't get anywhere near the price of the tyre specialists
because of the quantity difference - economies of scale etc.
If I remember rightly the dealer quoted 150ukp for a BT57 compared to 110ukp
form a specialist.
