5,500 on BT57's

How in the world did you get 5,500 out of the BT57's? At 3,300 miles I
don't think mine will last another two hundred miles and I'm sure not
going on the rallye with these squared off tires. I can see the extended
riding with constant heat build up taking the tire away quicker than the
IRS.
The problem that I've also found is that from dealer to dealer you get
a different opinion on what's best for the ST. Almost seemed that some
dealers get better prices from different brads so that's what they push.
I'm not too hard in the corners but want a good tire when I do. However,
long life is a priority. Even at around 10,000-12,000 miles a year on
your bike your looking at three sets of tires per year. That's kind of
expensive if you have other hobbies and interest.
Opinions before the tire swap for the Rallye.
