Hi Eric,
I posted a write-up with pic's to you personally. If acceptable, please feel
free to add to your site. Also, the problem with the BC1200 seems to have
been that I either didn't click the computer all the way into the mount, or
it somehow shook loose (seems unlikely). In any case, it is working fine
now.
Also, I ran 36/40 psi in the tires for this ride, and checked again when
hot, this became 39.5/46 psi. Useful if you have to check tires when hot.
Also, Bruce and I both experienced some scratching on the right side lower
fairing, Bruce a bit more than me. Not a scratch on the hero blobs however.
Is the footpeg height adjustable in some way? It sure would be nice to get
some footpeg scraping feedback before the fairing starts dragging. I guess I
might try that "scratch remover paste" stuff advertised on late night
infomercials. Anyone had any experience with this stuff? Else some touchup
paint I guess. While I'm not thrilled about scratching up the fairing
lowers, I guess that might be some indication of how hard I was riding?!!
