Finally got round to reading my backlog of Motorycycle News
papers (from June onwards!), and discovered a short and
non-technical article by a buy who had been given a Sprint ST as
a pet to take on holiday with him - as an incentive to report on
long-term results and touring performance etc.
Interestingly, he fitted a Baglux (tel. +44 1745 338080) tank
bag and harness (never seen either in the shops here in the UK)
and Oxford Sports panniers.
he also computed running costs, costs per mile etc.

The items concerned, he listed as costing the following:

Baglux tank bag .... £70 ... 30 mins' fitting time
Baglux tank harness .... £70 ... 10 mins' fitting time
Oxford panniers ...£110 ... 2 mins' fitting time.

(I suppose the tank harness is what is lovingly called a tank
bra in the States ? )

If anyone wants to read the whole article - only 1/2 page of
solid text, it's from MCN August 11, 1999, p. 34-35.

Tim
