I've come to love this sound. It is so distinctive, so (Hinckley) Triumph.

My main aim is to loose a little weight to partly offset the weight of the 
panniers and to produce enough noise to cover over the sound of the motor at

tickover. At the moment I think the motor sounds like a small marine diesel
at 
tickover.
