Ohlins shock update

Sorry, I'm a little late on my report:

The Ohlins shock, once setup properly, has silky smooth action, plenty of
spring, good rebound control, but not enough compression damping. If you
have stock forks you may not notice the latter, but since I had my forks
worked over by Circuit One, they are stiffer than stock. Problem now is
there's about a half-inch of travel in the rear with virtually no
compression damping...hit a bump midcorner and it does some odd stuff. On
smooth pavement it's rock solid, but who cares?!? Being the perfectionist
that I am, I had Circuit One modify the Ohlins to correct the compression
damping situation. I have the shock back and just have to wait for my seat
to return from Sargent to do a test ride. Reports to follow.
