Valve clearance measurements

OK, finally remembered the printout recorded by the dealer during inspection:

Cylinder 1     Cylinder 2     Cylinder 3       Cylinder 4
0.20   0.20    0.15   0.20   0.15    0.25       errrr...
0.15   0.15    0.10   0.15   0.05    0.05      missing

Compression (from the curves, before replacement) was:
Cyl 1     15 bar peak
Cyl 2      14.7 bar peak
Cyl 3      13.1 bar peak

It looks like Cyl 3 was being affected significantly by the two (inlet?) valves being unable to close properly during compression.

This seems to agree with the results from Paul Steinbecher, who said that those on his right side cylinder (no 3?) were closed up.   The two at 0.05 (mm?) were reshimed on mine.

I will have them checked at 12,000 miles also (might not take that long!) and report back then. I will ask if by any chance the dealer measured the clearances when my bike arrived (a bit unlikely).
