Mark, The end with the rain cover goes to the front. I purchased the bag
when I purchased the bike and have used it often for 3000 miles, thru rain
and all. It looks and preforms great, and I didn't have to wait for it.
still waiting on 2 pannier set,13-14 wks. now)
