Re: The official Triumph ST tank bag

Hi Mark,

I just got back from a week trip in the north of Sweden with a new Triumph
tank bag. I put the wider side with the rain pouch up front. Theres more
room for my arms to move around with the smaller side nearest me. If the
wall of the narrow side is too stiff you can take out the plastic support
that holds up the outer wall. This way you can get the height of the bag
closest to you down a bit. I had the plastic support there the first day I
bought it but because I broke 4 ribs recently with my "old", 1 1/2 month old
Sprint ST, Sprint, it was a little too painful to have that hard edge near
my ribs. Otherwise I love the tank bag when I'm touring. It's real easy to
use the rain cover and expand it into a huge storage area. The onlt thing I
wish I could change is how it's mounted to the frame. I'm thinking of
mounting some kind of "quick release" system so I can take the foam base off
quicky when ever I want.
