I also experienced this problem during the first thousand miles, but
only if I was really flying through the gears or feathering the clutch.
Once I became consistent with a good firm shift into 2nd, the problem
disappeared entirely.

I've got almost 2400 miles on my sprint and It's been popping out of 2nd
gear when I shift up going thru the gears. It's happens when I take
first
gear to 9 grand and shift up to 2nd, around 7 grand it sometimes pops
into
neutral.... I hope it goes away in the next couple of miles, or I'm
thinking about giving it back to my dealer. Has anybody else had this
problem?
