One other thing that I would like to point out. My dad had 73K miles on
his ST and at least 100K under his belt on previous bikes without any
accidents aside from the parking lot tip overs.  Dont ever get to the
point to where you think you are invincible or you think you are an
expert rider. There are always going to be situations that you have
never encountered or prepared yourself for. Keep it safe folks.
