All,

I am in the market for a sport-touring bike that is fun for solo riding,
yet also comfortable enough for two-up weekend trips.   I appreciate
European machinery over Japan, Inc. and have narrowed my choices down to
the Sprint ST and the BMW R1100S.  I would consider the Ducati ST4, but the
cost of insurance is laughable.  As a potential owner, I have monitored
Eric's terrific website regarding the ST.  I subscribed to the digest
version of the list to gather additional owner's comments to help in my
decision making on whether or not to become a Sprint owner.

What I hope to gather from this list is:

     Hinckley Triumph ownership experience
     Rating of Hinckley Triumph Customer Service
     Problems with Sprint STs
     Joys of Sprint ST ownership
     Year 2000 model rumors
     Anything else of interest to a potential owner.

I recently returned a '71 Triumph Bonneville to the road after she sat in
storage for 10 years, so the sport-tourer will not be alone in my garage.
