Hi all,

I got my Sprint ST (red) a week ago. Traded a 95M900 and 96 Nighthawk 750.
Loved the Monster, but no comparison to the ST. Decided to be responsible
<g> and consolidate my bikes since I only rode the Nighthawk for two-up.
Been riding for 33 years but the ST may be the best bike I've ever owned.

Have 300 miles on it and got 50 mpg on the first tank (was working the
curves pretty hard, but staying below 4500 rpm). Mirrors are steady at least
to 70 (break in you know). Turbulence not a problem (I'm 5'9). No problems
except the gas gauge that starts working at half tank.
Like many others, I'm waiting for hard bags and the performance silencer.
Bike was universally popular at every stop I've made. Even to the cage
drivers.

I'm in southern NH and looking forward to finding the Triumph riders in this
neighborhood.

Larry Rau
Jekyll (the M900 was Mr Hyde of course)
