What is the advice on breaking in the new ST? Several people on the Triumph 
list say that occasional brief fierce acceleration beyond the specified 
limits wil bed in the piston rings better than adhering slavishly to the 
reccommended limits.

 I always follow the recommended brak in procedures to the letter. It
doesn't take that long to get past the break in miles and I have never had a
motor problem. I know there are people that say they should be broken in
like you are going to ride them or that that the new motors can't be hurt
but why take a chance on a $10k investment?
