Re: New subscribers

Thanks Eric and hi everyone. I don't own an ST but am seriously considering
one. I test rode the previous Sprint & wasn't sold on it, but the new ST
looks great. I live in Southern California, and my main ride is a 92 Harley
Dyna-Glide Daytona. I also have vintage bikes including 1968 TR6-C, 1970
Bonneville, and 1970 BSA B44VS.

Anyway, I wanted to know how you ST riders liked your bikes, what kind of
riding you do, what problems you're experiencing, and what modifications
were being made. The Gen-Mar discussion is particularly interesting. My
main concerns, at age 45 with a back that goes out more than I do, are
seating position and wind protection, as I am looking for something I can
comfortably ride to San Francisco but also split lanes with in congested
L.A. So far I've gathered some nice tidbits from this list.

Dave
