This is correct - late design changes and external sourcing problems have
really thrown the ST behind schedule. It was originally to be released in
late September of 98, but first bikes weren't coming off until late
November. Unlike the 595 which was pushed to market ahead of when it really
should have been, the ST was held until they had most of the problems
worked out. Supply will not get any better as they are now running the
Tigers and have 2 new bikes slated for production at the end of the year /
beginning of 2000.
