Re: Fuel Gauge and Pipe

Rick,

I think *most* of us are having problems of one sort or another with the
fuel gauge. Most common problem is that it stays full for a long time and
then drops quite rapidly. If you go into the reserve and get the fuel
warning light, it takes many miles (10-15 for me) after refilling for the
light to go out and the gauge to read full again. Others have ones that
always read empty....

A saw a post last week from one of the STlisters that Triumph was working
on a fix and I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he had not heard anything
further. So I would say at this point mention it to your dealer so he knows
you have the problem and wait for Triumph to send out a fix, but at this
point I wouldn't have them waste the time on it. From the parts diagram,
the fuel level sensor appears to be one piece with no sub assemblies
available.

As for the pipe, if anyone has a before / after (or one at least one of the
two) dyno run, please send it to me so that I can get it up on the site.

Rick, what did you write for Rider ?
