Robert: There is an excellent article in this month's issue of the =
British magazine RIDE which discusses flat repair kits. BMW makes a =
nice kit.
In San Antonio, Texas it is already high 80's to low 90's temperature =
and will be mid-100's by July from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. Any leather that =
is totally perforated (for example, Vanson) over a T shirt wetted down =
with water will have keep you cool. By the way, Triumph is now selling =
perforated jackets in both the "Race" and "Retro" versions.

Just a few questions to members of the list. Can the oil level and =
coolant level be checked with the bike on the center stand or should the =
bike be on the side stand?. Also is the chain to be adjusted to the =
35-40mm with the bike on the center stand ? Will the weight of a person =
make this to tight? The manual was not to clear on this. Any =
recomendations for a good flat repair kit?And finally back to the =
subject of warm weather riding gear. What do people wear. People in =
Texas? Dennis?
