Re: Riding a Sprint ST in the Canadian Rockies



Folks,

Although I haven't yet taken one of Mike's tours, I did meet him and talk to
him at length at last January's bike show here in Toronto.  He seemed like a
guy that would run a first-rate tour and was very likeable.  Although his
Rocky Mountain Tours aren't inexpensive, I reviewed the itinerary and it
stays at first-class resorts.

I've ridden the Rockies twice on a Beemer, and the roads and scenery are
awesome!  IMHO, June or September are the best months to go;  great weather,
but you avoid all those slow-moving Winnebagos that clog the highways in
July and August, and are almost impossible to pass in the mountains . . .

Just my .02 worth . . .
