RE: Fuel gauges again

The cans do "louden" up a bit from when you first put it on. When I was
having the prob. with the gauge it would exhibit similar behavior it just
takes a while with the bike running to get it to reset.

No big news, just a little oddity.

I filled up last night at a petrol [gas] station a
couple of miles
from home. By the time I got home, the fuel gauge was still
reading
empty and the light was on: situation normal. No biggie, I
thought,
it'll settle overnight. But first thing this morning when I
switched
the bike on, the gauge was still on empty and the light was
still on!
I thought that the sender would have settled to its correct
place
overnight, but it seems that the engine needs to be
running?!

Is it my imagination, or is the can a little louder
today? Sounds
		good :-)
