Troy,

Plan on using your odometer and you'll be safe at 200 miles between
fill-ups, esepecially as you can't exceed certain rpm's during the break-in.
Very few of us have working gas guages and apparently Triumph knows about
this---- this best understanding I have is that it is NOT the sending unit,
but rather the guages.  The Rocky Mountain Region representative spoke with
me the day I picked mine up and indicated that they had changed distributors
for their guages and that this was apparently the source of the problem.  No
official recall from Triumph that I know of yet.
