I'm a linguist and writer, so I thought I'd venture to define a
couple of things for you:

"I'm chuffed" = I'm delighted, over the moon, very
happy/content.
As in "I think she'd be chuffed if you asked her to marry you"
(sorry, but examples always end up sounding corny out of
context, right?)

"naff" is one of those very English words
it means something like crap, grotty, scuzzy (N. English
dialect), cheesy (US), hopeless/useless
can be applied to just about anything including people,
clothing, food, music, bikes, sex ... you name it.
not forgetting "Naff off!", a politer 4-letter word that certain
others one could mention....
