RS vs ST

I saw the bikes at the NEC, and got a chance to study that which
interested me - the question of whether ST panniers would fit to an
RS. And the answer would appear to be a 'maybe'...

The bodywork itself and what I could see and feel of the rear subframe
seem identical. The differences are in the pillion footpeg hangers and
the silencer. The silencer looks identical apart from the positioning
of the mounting holes for the bracket.

Also, the bars are a little lower on the RS, perhaps 1.5cm. Seemed
(from a brief sit) to be comfortable though.

TT600 looks quite nice, if you happen to like 600s. A bit ZX-6R in
profile.
