winter storage/ battery tender

Has anyone used a battery tender WITH the quick connect harness on their
sprint st?I use the tender regularly on my 86' cb450sc(with the qc
harness) with no problems , but am primarily concerned with damaging the
computer   on my 99'sprint st. I assume the tender is safe for sealed
batteries?
