RE: Shock on order

I'm going to do it myself. It is a direct order from Penske and I am
planning on going up to pick it up. I went to full hard on the front and for
me, I 'think' it needs a higher spring rate. Then I guess to work properly,
it should have the damping circuits matched to the spring rate. Here is
where I get a bit nervous. I tried a gold valve on a Superhawk (self
installed) and was not impressed. Race Tech did not have anything to offer
in the way of advice except to suggest a 1kg spring. That got me to NO
movement in the front suspension when I was on the bike. The kit was also
made to fit a whole multitude of bikes. Now I would like to think I could
get the same service to the front end as I get from Penske. This is the
bike, this is the weight, this is how I use it, someone sets it up 'using a
shock dyno'. I can't see how someone can get it correct any other way.
Suspension!!!! Black magic for sure! I think it will be tough to beat what
Triumph has done until someone really sorts it out and supplies the receipt.
Any volunteers?
