Weekend ride and Sargent

Well, it was a beautiful weekend here in Central Florida (partly to mostly
sunny and temps in the mid 70sF), and I got to put some more miles on the
Sargent seat (this time with Kim on the pillion). We did a couple hundred
miles on Saturday afternoon with a nice mix of casual riding with a few
sections of twisties here and there to keep it exciting.

At this point I can say that I really like the seat - I guess I'm going to
have to plan a long trip to see how it performs in that arena.

The pillion is not as nice though. If you remember, I kept the seat design
close to stock so that I could continue to use the seat cowl. While the new
seat is better in her words, she still wants more (typical....). So I would
recommend that if you are using your ST for two up and send it to Sargent,
that you forget about the cowl and allow them to create a bigger dish for
the pillion.

Other than that, the seat is a winner.
