Increased wattage

Has anyone successfully run increased wattage headlight bulbs?  I'm thinking
about 70W/80W (or maybe even 80W/100W) looks like the current drain, or
standard fused should not be a problem, but I am concerned about the extra
heat that these will generate especially on the plastic reflector.
