It shouldn't - I have updated many without any change at all in the
numbering. What are you experiencing?
Some people inadvertently added their info twice so I went back in deleted
any extra entires. There was also a problem where if someone used a '
(single quote) anywhere in the data entered, the record would not update
properly. This is a problem with php and I just have not had the time to
write some additional code to correct it. Anyway, it would leave a blank
record in the registry - I also have deleted these. These two items account
for the few skipped numbers that you see in the id number column.
