RE: st-digest V1999 #226 (Fuel gauge)

Shame really isn't it - You would think that on a bike of
this quality that the fuel guage would work - An idea - lets nick one from a
Jap bike and market it as an 'aftermarket' product - with the ever
increasing sales of ST's and charge about £20 for the conversion I should be
able to make a bob or two .....

Does anybody know what the story is from Triumph on the fuel
guage i.e. when they are going to fix it once and for all?

		Mark.

I've had them both out of sync with each
other at times. Until Triumph gets
the gauges fixed, I wouldn't trust the light
or the gauge at all. Both my
first gauge and the second one worked really
accurately for the first two
tanks of gas, after that, they were pretty
much useless.
