Loose pipe, clunking in front, and chain knocking

Steve, don't know if I mentioned it to you are David at the rallye but
i remember someone's pipe was moving around a lot on the road. I was
afraid it was going to fall off in front of me but when it was moved by
hand at a stop it felt ok. I assumed it was just the mounting cushions.
Clunking in front; I remember this coming up before when some of our
bikes were pushed around and it was found to be the front brake cable
binding on the slip bracket inside the fairing. Could this be loud
enough to be heard at speed?
Chain knocking; again I had this problem also and adjusted the chain
without success. Someone else mentioned that they thought it was the
fuel injection slightly surging at around 2500-3000 rpm. After I played
with the throttle and rechecked the chain I think they were right. Could
you be experiencing the same thing?
