Re: False Neutrals & 955i shifter

I haven't had the experience of any false neutrals between 5th and 6th, but
then the only time I use 6th is cruising on the freeway, and even then half
the time I forget to use it there. I'm used to cruising RPM being around 6k
and with the ST it seems like an indicated 70 is about 4500 in 5th and 4000
in 6th. When you can't hear the motor, it makes it pretty hard to
distinguish the two other than looking at the tach. Usually in the
twisties, the bike is in 3rd or 4th to keep it in the power band, so I'd
solve this problem by not using 6th except for on the freeway, and then
shifting real deliberately (something I have to do from second to first, or
I end up in the real neutral).
