Re: Pain in the neck!



I'm sure others will give good advice but here's mine anyway...   Coming
from BMW's I'd never ridden bent over like that and was in pain also, though
my extra 80 pounds around the middle and chins doesn't help....

1.  Stretch, don't worry about looking weird, just do some stretching
excercises before and after riding.  It really REALLY helped me.

2.  Unlock your elbows.

3.  Sit on your ass, not on your hands.  This will take some practice but
you'll learn it.

4.  Unlock your elbows.

5.  Replace the grips or buy some gel gloves, or both.

6.   Try moving forward or backward on the seat to find where you are most
comfortable.

7.  Unlock your elbows.

8.   If after a month it's not better get some risers.
