Re: It's sad and its long.

Jonathan,

It couldn't be simpler... .. next time there was Orange in the spray gun,
and NOT until...to AVOID any production line delays, just paint a Daytona
fairing. With a no time limit delivery it would be easy if they wished to do
it. They do it for other people and Staff bikes as seen at the Open Day.
There were at least 8 or 9 oddball coloured bikes proudly on show at the
Open Day including a NON standard coloured Tiger. I have the pics of them
on my puter.

There is only one paintshop and not diferent paint lines for different
models.. they all get painted in the same shop.

It's actualy called rippig off the customer over here. On one visit, a
reasonably senior Triumph man said that as long as the Brits would pay a
higher price, Triumph were only to pleased to rip them off.

They are also using the UK to dump old models and old stock that they have
sitting around and there seems to be plenty of old stock coming back from
around the world.

I agree as regards the comment about the new factory that, was one of the
reasons I gave an open delivery date so as NOT to cause any production
hold ups.

They are sadly losing fervent Triumph fans quite regularly from what I hear
out and about.

>Interestingly it was Ross Clifford who was interviewed in BiKE mag (on the
production walk-through article follwing an ST through the shop).

I know that Ross is on this list and he replied to one of the letters I sent
to him but NOT to the second, nor did Charles Smart.
