Triumph Sprint ST Rallye Eureka Springs, AR 1999

To everybody,
                    Had a great time at your rallye even though I was =
the only original ST their.(but the only one to crash).  All you people =
on Triumphs are great.  Instead of the Honda saying" you meet the nicest =
people on a honda" it should be "YOU MEET THE NICEST PEOPLE ON A =
TRIUMPH."
                     My wife and son drove up to Eureka to trailer me =
and the bike home. I didn't get into as much trouble as I thought I =
would, especially since it was my 28th wedding aniversary that weekend.  =
They were real troopers about the whole thing.  We drove straight thru =
to Florida and got home Wednesday about 7:30 in the morning.
                     I must say that I'm not 25 years old anymore I've =
never been so bruised up in my life, even after 30 years of dirt bike =
racing.  But I'm ok and will survive.
                     I want to thank everybody for what you all did =
while I was trying to figure out how bad I was hurt.  You'all were more =
aware of my situation than I was.  Lisa and Dee thanks for keeping me =
awake.  Steve thanks for taking my bike back to Eureka.   All of the =
Texas boys thanks for staying with me and talking instead of riding.  =
Dennis for going back to find Mark and Eric.  Mark and Eric for =
backtracking and trying to find me.  Paul for picking up all my parts =
and helment.  Rob and Jenna a special thanks for driving your car all =
that way and insisting that I go to the hospital.  If I've left out =
anyone I sure didn't mean to.  Once again thanks everybody and I'm =
honored to have met such a fine group of people.
                     Hope to ride with you'all again and will see you at =
the next rallye.
