The number that is used for comparison is the build date on the vin tag on 
the frame.

According to the info we have been given, the fix is still a ways off as 
they are still testing the new unit. I can run 200 miles on 4 gallons(US) 
and I know that I've got another 50-70 miles in reserve. Just make sure to 
reset the trip meter and you'll be all set ;-)
