I own the 99---Black...great bike...
7000 mi last season...no problems-recalls aside..
I paid 10,200.00 in Dec.98 for the bike-Triumph tank bag..
CF Pipe-remap chip-CF tank protector..No luggage....
Bought soft bags for 1/3 the cost...Doesn't look as good but...
Thought it was a good deal then.. still do...
My dealer has a Red 99 leftover on the floor for 9999.00
New blue-list for 10,200..The prices basically haven't changed..
At least at my dealer...bottom line..
How good do you haggle?? The BMW is no doubt a nice bike
and there are a lot of after market products available for it..
unlike the ST.:( I drove on the ST2, BMW and the Sprint
You know who the winner was..
Remember..You posted a question to the ST group...:)
BTW.. just chopped the tail last week basically following
Lance LaCerts' instructions..thanks Lance.(see ST web page-mods)..
and purchased the seat cowl (finally)......looks great..
