For those that have had, or are having this leak, is it from newly
replaced sending units or also new bikes or both ( RS & ST)??
Do we know if the TT600 or any other Triumphs use the same sender and
are having similar problems?
Also for those that have had this leak develop how long a gestation
period has it been from the time the new sender was installed to the
problem beginning?? a day, a week, a month?
Lastly, Matt do you think it's the sealant dissolving or maybe that
the vendor that Triumph sources the senders from did a batch where
the sealant wasn't applied correctly? I'm only guessing here but I
can't imagine any manufacturer that would be making a unit for this
type of application not using the correct sealant. I can imagine it
not being applied correctly, or not curing or even the company that
makes the sealant screwing up.
