Mine was one of the first of the new batch to be installed, and the first
to report the leak.

I went through about 4 tanks before it started leaking, in about three or
four weeks if I remember right. Since it didn't start leaking right away, I
assume the gas is somehow disolving it. Maybe the problem is that they did
all their testing with petrol, and it's not compatible with gasoline. :^)

Maybe it's the same manufacturer who supplied the wrong crankcase bolts.
