Mike,
You're Australian, yes? Remember that kerfuffle a couple of years ago
regarding the headlights of the Ducati 916 not conforming to ADR's
(Australian Design Rules) so the importer actually had to replace them with
a single unit? Well, this is Triumph's (much neater) solution to a similar
dilemma. And it's easy to reverse - my dealer in Brisbane performs this
little 'service' during pre-delivery because they know their customers don't
like the bike being a cyclops. My ST shines proudly from both lights.

You'll find a relay pack in the RHS rear of the tailpiece (only on the RS -
ST is further forward). Locate the headlight relay and replace it with one
containing a diode. You'll find one at an automotive shop. Check also that
you have dual filament bulbs installed in both lights. That should fix
things. If you don't feel confidant doing this, I'm sure your dealer will
help you 'break the law'.

My RS burns both on both high and low, so it must either be country specific
(Where are you?) or something isn't right!

The only thing that I find slightly annoying about my new RS is the
headlights. On low beam only the left one illuminates and on high beam only
the right one. Is this correct, or do I have fault headlights? If it is
correct does anyone know of a way to make both lights illuminate on both
low and high beam?
