RE: for Stuart - oil change - correction

Exercise caution in this activity as I have had to a repair a scratch that
went through the side of the sump with steel cut epoxy. Caution is the
better part of valor. I shortly thereafter bought the correct socket size
and drilled small holes on opposing sides of the socket so that nails can
be driven into the filter. This gives it the extra bit it needs to break
the seal.

Subject:	for Stuart - oil change - correction

Dear Stuart;

       An observant friend pointed out a glaring ommision in my oil
change instructions. Please amend as follows:

 Step 12A) Carefully lay motorcycle on it's side on the garage
floor. Using an ordinary hammer and the minimum amount of force
required, pound your longest screwdriver through the oil filter to
provide the leverage neccesary to break loose the over-tightened oil
filter threads (see reference to apprentice technician in Step 7)

                                       Your faithful servant;

             - - - o%\o (the motorcyclist formerly known as Dogood)
