Conversion of things

Here is an good site for converting various units:

Another thing that I use regularly to convert units and find the weights
of materials is a little book called "Pocket Ref" by Thomas J. Glover,
Sequoia Publishing (ISBN 1-885071-00-0). It is a small book (3"x5.5")
that is chock full of all kinds of information. My kids and I jokingly
refer to it as "The Book of Useless Knowledge." Actually it is quite
useful. There is also a desk version called "Desk Ref" and a software
version titled "Mega Ref."
