When I used to fence in central london in 1976, I had to take my foils etc to
the club. I had a bag which looked like a huge long guitar case. Because I
only had my honda 250Tsports, I had to sling the handle over one shoulder
and balance the bulky end on the rear seat and rack! It was quite a
performance but was the only way to do it. I can't see any other way other
than using the same principle.
