Turbo ST

Erik,

I have just sent an email asking Brian about my money transfer to his bank.
He should have gotten it on the 11th. He sent an email on the 12th saying
that he hadn't received the money yet. So, I'm naturally getting a little
nervous here! Hopefully I'll be getting delivery of the Stage II Turbo kit
sometime in the middle of May. That's if everything goes well. Keeping my
fingers crossed. I hope to have th kit in and the bike all set up for some
track sessions that are coming up in a little over a month. I'm trying to
make a deal with my dealer for rubber for the season. I think I'll be in
need of fresh rubber a little more often than I'm used to.

I also have other things to iron out with my dealer. Today on a ride, I saw
that there's oil leaking out of the engine by the clutch! I've send a pic of
the leak and my belly rash to the site.

I must have done the belly rash while running 2up yesterday and hitting the
twisties at 160kmh (100mph). I had to see how good these Michelin Pilots
were. The suspension is really tight. The forks are at 1 full turn under
5mm, the rebound is at 1/2 a turn out from stop and the preload is at 6
clicks. The rear is still a little squirley when we hit a decompression in
the road and when we get on the throttle hard out of the turns. The only
thing left that I can adjust is the preload. I don't have much adjustment
left with the forks and the rebound. This suspension stuff is so greek to
me. I really need to find some good information about dialing in the bike
for both 1up and 2up riding. Do you know of any good books or sites that I
can check out?
