My ST did this a total of three or four times.  It was nothing I could 
figure out and the dealer didn't get any error codes.  I'd recommend a 
re-tweak on the CO2 setting as I never had it happen again after the "race" 
pipe was put on.
Oh and Eric is right there is no difference between the SS and the carbon 
wrapped.  It is the same muffler.
