I use 2 soft ties looped over the bottom triple clamp. They are just long
enough to extend beyond the front fairing to allow tie downs to hook on. You
can get them at any shop. They are 2 ft nylon web straps with loop at each
end. On the back I use 2 more to go around one of the wheel "spokes" and 2
tie downs. I would not recommend using a point that compreses the rear
suspension. This doesn't allow the bike to absorb shocks transmitted through
the trailer. Be sure and don't blow the front seals by compressing the front
shocks too much.
