Yes, if you rotate the brake lever forward a bit. The risers I made
are ~.9" thick and I have no problem. I checked the brake line at
full-extension of the forks and found it to be loose enough not to
cause any problems.

Yup. I have a buddy who has a machining center and owed me a favor
*and* I sell CNC software, so I was able to write a program to cut a
set out of aircraft aluminum billet.
