I've had a 'Stich for about three years, and while I seldom ride all day in the rain, I have had two-hour long commutes in downpours (such as we have here in Ellay). I find that alone, I do get the oh-so-fashionable "wet my pants" look as the water all pools at the crotch.
So I carry a lightweight anorak (like one I use for cycling, but an extra-large) and wear it _over_ the "Stich". No problems at all. Obviously, the water is just leaking into the front zipper.
But, since it only rains here five or six days a year, which requires that we steal all our drinking water from the guys in the Bay Area, why bother riding in the rain at all?? <fleeing>
